A sweet treat for you. Eid Mubarak!

Staying safe from Covid-19 is of utmost importance now. But that didn’t say NO to having our little Eid celebration at home. That means yes, we did let the Biriyani and all the Eid delicacies poured.
This blog post gives a lazy girl recipe to all the people who want to indulge in a delicious sweet delicacy. It is a quick 'Mango cream' recipe that I made for this Eid, which is super easy and yummy.

Another Eid during lockdown -
The situation demands us to stay indoors to keep ourselves safe and break the chain of Covid-19. But we could really have our intimate Eid celebration within the four walls of our homes.

Eid food traditions -
In my house, Eid breakfast and lunch are the biggest feasts that we look forward to. Since the main courses of the Eid food are being taken care of by my mom and sister, I get to focus on the Eid special drinks or sweet treats of the celebration.
I love experimenting with quick recipes, and it is a sheer pleasure when they come out successful.

A sweet treat for you -
Hence, I had decided to go with a mango dessert this Eid, as it was readily available and everybody loves it.

Mango cream -
I have had mango cream the first time from ‘Hajiali Juice Centre’ in Bangalore (a well-known cafe spread across India) and went in complete awe about it.
This Eid, I had decided to make the ‘Hajiali inspired’ Mango cream of my version at home.

Recipe
Ingredients required - (To serve 6 -7 cups)
1. Fresh juicy mangoes (3 large)
2. Fresh cream (2 boxes of 250ml)
3. Condensed milk or Milk made (1/4 part of the tin)
4. Vanilla essence (1-2 Teaspoons)
5. Pistachios (optional)

Method -
Step 1 -
Start by chopping 2 mangoes into cubes to make mango puree. (We will be using the 3rd mango to garnish the mango cream later). Take a blender and blend the mango cubes for a minute without adding water to get its puree. Once the puree is ready, keep it aside.
Step 2 -
Take a bowl, add fresh cream, condensed milk, vanilla essence and beat it with an electric beater for a minute after adding each ingredient separately. Ensure that the cream mixture is thick before you add each new ingredient.
Step 3 -
Now pour the mango puree into the cream mixture and carefully stir with a spatula to let it blend with the cream mixture. The mango cream is now ready and it should be refrigerated for 5 - 6 hours or overnight to get the right texture of the cream.
Step 4 -
Take a serving bowl and add chopped mango cubes as the first layer. Pour the chilled mango cream as the thick second layer and again add the mango cubes as the third layer. Sprinkle a generous amount of crushed pistachios on top, as it is a heavenly combination with the mango cream.
Step 5 -
Enjoy the Mango cream!

Final verdict:
This Mango cream is a quick and easy one, making it a perfect recipe for anybody who wants to make a quick dessert that doesn’t disappoint you. It just requires 4 ingredients, and a delicious dessert is guaranteed. Also, it satisfied my cravings for Hajiali's Mango cream, which is considered the best.

The best part about this recipe is that it can be made with any fruit of your choice, and it would still taste amazing.
I hope this recipe can add a smile to your face and more joy to your celebrations this year.
Wishing you good health, peace and prosperity.
Eid Mubarak!
